Wire 2016 Recap

FIBER-LINE® exhibited at the 2016 WIRE SHOW in Dusseldorf, Germany during the first week of April. The WIRE SHOW is always a reunion of familiar faces within the Wire and Cable industry. This year however, we also met with several new potential customers that were looking for high-performance fiber based solutions.  This resulted in many good and interesting discussions on various topics and subjects.

FIBER-LINE® sales manager Ingmar Otter concluded “If I would have to select a part of the world that we noticed a significant increase in opportunity, I would say India & the Middle East.” Ingmar suggests that recent economic changes may have led to increased inquiry and traffic at the show.  Besides that, Ingmar also noticed more in depth discussions with FIBER-LINE®’s existing customers. “Our customers are looking for more and more high-performance fiber based solutions.”

Overall, the general opinion of the market is very optimistic. The industry is ready to invest in increased and new production capacity. The show was a great success for FIBER-LINE® in which we were able to engage with several key customers and suppliers.
