In an effort to help educate our customers about the differences in certain high performance synthetic fibers, we have included data on critical properties of these various fibers.
This chart does not include every high performance fiber in the market place but is an accurate representation of the fibers Fiber-Line® currently uses.
This chart is regularly updated as new fibers are added to this list on a continual basis. One of the high performance fibers that was not on our list in 2009 was carbon fiber. Carbon fiber is now one of our most important fibers in the Composites market.
The goal for displaying this chart is to show customers the major differences in the fibers as they appear with no value added from Fiber-Line®. Most of the properties that appear on this list can be altered by the added value that Fiber-Line® performs, whether by our twisting, coating, winding or pulltrusion processes or some combination of these.
