Fiber-Line® supplies aramid yarns to GATES MECTROL which brings strength and durability
into GATES MECTROL’s belts. The aramid yarns are equipped with a coating that improves the adhesion to the TPU. GATES MECTROL appreciates the ease of processing of the yarns and its superior adhesion performance to the polymer.
Fiber-Line® met the challenge to develop an outstanding coating for the aramid fiber which gives
the required adhesion in the matrix to fulfill the demanding specifications of GATES MECTROL's
automation components. The coated aramid has been subject to quite a number of tests and got finally approved in many different products.
